Paraffin Soy Wax is a blended wax made by combining traditional paraffin wax with natural soy wax. This hybrid wax takes advantage of both materials: the strong scent throw and smooth finish of paraffin, and the cleaner, longer burn and renewable origin of soy. It’s commonly used in candle making to achieve an optimal balance between performance and eco-friendliness. Paraffin soy wax typically has a creamy texture and excellent fragrance retention.

🕯️ Candle Burning Safety Tips

🔥 Before You Light It

Trim wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) before every use. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, dripping, or flaring.
Use a sturdy, heat-resistant holder
that will catch drips and prevent tipping.
Keep candles away from anything flammable—like curtains, paper, books, or furniture.
Place candles on a stable, heat-safe surface, out of reach of pets and kids.

💡 While It’s Burning

Never leave a candle unattended. Even for a minute. Blow it out before you leave the room.
Keep it out of drafts, vents, or ceiling fans. This helps prevent uneven burning or excessive flickering.
Burn candles in well-ventilated rooms, but avoid placing them near open windows.
Don’t move a burning candle. Hot wax can spill, or the flame could flare up.

⏳ Burn Time Guidelines

Most candles shouldn’t burn longer than 3–4 hours at a time. Burn long enough the first time to melt the wax to the edge (this helps prevent tunneling).
🛑 When to Put It Out

Stop burning when about 1/2 inch (1 cm) of wax remains—or 1/4 inch if in a container.
Use a snuffer to extinguish (blowing it out can cause hot wax to splatter).
Double-check that the wick is no longer glowing before walking away.
